NSEV™ Acupuncture
The NSEV (Non-somantic Extraordinary Vessels) treatment is a modern adaptation of an ancient Chinese medicine and acupuncture healing system that addresses a person’s core patterns of functioning, in addition to their presenting symptoms, to alleviate pain, both physical and emotional, and achieve optimum wellness. The ultimate goal of NSEV™ Healing is to create a healthy balance among these internal functioning patterns, as well as overall harmony in the way a person interacts with the world around them.
NSEV Pulse Diagnosis
NSEV Pulse Diagnosis is an extensive and comprehensive diagnostic technique which studies the 8 pulses on each arm. Each position tells us something about every organ, the function of the organ and how the organs contribute to the body. It does this by way of Qi and blood as well as the health of tissue, fluids and homeostatic process within the body. Not only does pulse information add critical information that can greatly alter treatment strategy, but the most incredible aspect of this diagnostic technique is its preventative abilities that can read serious disease potential 1-3 years in advanced, as well as help to understand acute issues that may also be occurring or contributing to future issues.
Tuning Forks
Sound and energy therapy which provides a ‘needless acupuncture’ using specialized tuning forks to work with the natural energy flow through your body’s meridians. The body’s energy system is one of vibration. Each organ, even each cell, within the body has its own vibration at which it functions optimally. The effects of stress, injury, disease, and less-than-positive attitudes impact the body at a cellular level. Tones produced by tuning forks can bring “out of tune” body vibrations into balance and harmony. The effects of vibrational healing are the release of deeply seated energy blockages, energy shifts within cells, tissues, and organs, alleviation of pain, deep relaxation, and mental clarity, to name just a few.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a 3,000 year old effective form of medical treatment. Hair-thin sterile needles are placed in specific points in the body, where they trigger the body’s natural healing response. This activates the Qi in the body and promotes healing by enhancing therapeutic power, physical and emotional health, and immunity. Acupuncture is effective for controlling pain, promoting circulation, and regulating the body’s physiological functions to treat various internal dysfunction and disorders. It is a natural and safe therapy that is used to heal illness, prevent disease and improve well-being.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese Medicine technique that involves the burning of mugwort which is a small, spongy herb, to facilitate healing. The purpose of Moxibustion, as with most forms of traditional Chinese Medicine, is to strengthen the blood, stimulate the flow of Qi, and maintain general health. In traditional Chinese Medicine, Moxibustion is used on people who have a cold or stagnant condition. In Western Medicine, Moxibustion has successfully been used to rescue people from forms of shock/collapse, assist with infertility issues in women, and help strengthen the body to offset the side effects of chemotherapy.
Cupping
Cupping is a form of Ancient Chinese therapy in which the practitioner creates suction in a cup, usually by means of heat. This draws up the underlying tissues. When the cup is left in place on the skin for a few minutes, blood stasis is formed and localized healing takes place. Cupping has been found to affect the body up to four inches into the tissues, causing tissues to release toxins, activate the lymphatic system, clear colon blockages, help activate and clear the veins, arteries and capillaries, activate the skin, unlocks stress held in the back, shoulder, and neck. Cupping is the best deep tissue massage available and is very useful and very safe!
Gua Sha (Scraping Technique)
Gua Sha is based on the skin theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine: by the use of tools such as jade, ox horn or Cupping jars with liniment on. The relevant parts of the skin are scraped and rubbed repeatedly to dredge the channel and activate blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis. Regular Gua Sha is helpful to adjust the Qi, relieve fatigue, and improve one’s immune system.
